ReplyDeleteI want to answer Question#2
After reading this article, I thought it was a good idea to build up an ecolodge at first. The purpose of constructing an ecolodge is to protect the natural environment and minimize the destruction as possible as they can. However, during the process of build up an ecolodge, it will actually cause lots of problems to the wildlife. It interferes into the animals' environment and maybe the way they live.

ReplyDeleteI want to answer Question#2.
I think it could be a good idea if we can build the ecolodge with the least impact on the environment. The ecolodge provides us a good chance to enjoyh the nature. We can observe the truest appearances of the animals, and to see how they live their life in the nature. We also can see what the environment they live look like and how beautiful it is. If during the building process, the engineer can be very careful not to destroy the place the animals live, and the plants growing around the ecolodge. Thus, people can have a good chance to observe the nature and would not damage the environment.

I visited Hualain before, and I was awed by the majestic beauty there. The mountains and the view of the Pacific Ocean are the two must that I suggest if my friends want to visit there. You can enjoy the wind from the sea and watch the sunrise disappearing on the horizon.

Though a small island, Taiwan also owns a lot of beautiful natural sceneries. This summer, I went to Hualian for the first time in these almost 15 years. Although in the summer I always go to beaches or sometimes I go to the mountains, I never visit Eastern Taiwan, so I think the natural sceneries there are very different. The sands of the beach are different from those in the west of Taiwan. They're much bigger, and at the beach of Eastern Taiwan, there are also cliffs, which is not also seen at the beaches in the west of Taiwan. However, the most impressive scenery was--the moon rise. If you wake up early enough and if the weather is good, you can always see the sunrise. But!! Thanks to the good view of the B&B that I stayed in, I experienced the moon rise. After I went to the night market and started to enjoy the food, I saw some dim light in the sky. At first, I didn't know what that was, and later, I realized that it was moon rise! Which the master of the B&B mentioned to me! That was the first time that I couldn't find any expression to describe that scene...

Several years ago, my family and I went to 花蓮七星潭, and the scenery there impressed me a lot. It was a beautiful sunny day. My sister and I sat on the beach and enjoyed watching the waves going back and forth which made both of us feel relax. The sky was surprisingly blue, and so was the broad ocean. Until now, I can still smell the salty air and hear the pleasant sound which I experienced that day. It was the most breath-taking scenic spot that I have ever gone to.

I think that it could be a good idea. Through the advanced technology, the engineers can diminish the strong impacts to the environment when they build lodges in the national parks. As the tourists visit the national parks and stay at the lodges, they are being in the nature all the time. They can really experience the nature instead of seeing those scenery pictures on the magazines or books. In fact, in Taiwan, some hotels were built near the national parks. For example, around the Kenting National Park, there are many ecolodges to meet the need of tourists. It is convenient for tourists to have a trip around the national park.

I think it is a good way for people to protect our environment and animals. Though during the construction, there are some species will be destroyed, it is the best way to give them a better place to live. Owing to the greedy desire of our human beings, we had already caused some serious damage to the animals and plants. And of course, we have to do our best to not to devastate the habitats and minimize the damage to those species. Therefore, I think build an ecolodge in the national parks is a better way.

I often went to Mountain 合歡 when I was young. Every time when I went there was winter. It's like you entered a white world. All stuff was covered with snow. When the sun shone on the ground, the mountain 合歡,itself, looked like ice shavings. I enjoyed playing snow with my family, shivering without wearing jackets, and having hot soups. All things now become my part of precious memories.

This summer vacation i went to 西子灣 in Kaohsiung, and the scenery there was really astonishing. You can see the very beautiful sunset blew by the soft sea breeze there in the old British consulate. It seemed that you could throw every annoying things behind at that moment and immersed yourself in the beautiful scenery.

When I was in junior high, I traveled around Taiwan. I was really impressed by Taroko National Park when I traveled to eastern Taiwan. I was stunned by scenes of Changchun Shrine and Swallow Grotto at the first sight. The natural beauty gave me inspiration and cognition of Taiwan anew. I took a lot of pictures when I walked through the Changchun Shrine. I recommended everyone to have a visit of Taroko National Park. You will be surprised by its beauty.

Whn it comes to beatiful scenic spot in Taiwan, My first though came up is "Hualien". And, I would like to share a place whever tourists can have fun and enjoy the nature in Hualien. The place call 七星潭, a beach, is a pop beach in Hualien. When people go Hualien in summer, 七星潭 must be in one of their tour list sechedule. The wind there is comfortable, and the sound of sea wave is euphonious. As I was standing near the beach, I can smell the air filled with the smell of fresh. The sea color there is natural dark blue, but it looks like a painted sea. So, if there is any chance, I recommend everyone throw all works behind, and have fun there.

Actually, I don't think it is a good idea to build ecolodge. Though it is a good way for people to be close to nature, it still does not belong to the original nature. People may gradually influence the environment there. Also, people always bring garbages, and other things coming from human's society. In my opinion, to build this kind of place is oly for people to benefit and relax for themselves. Therefore, I don't think it is a good idea to build ecolodge.

i think it is a good idea to build ecolodges in national parks. i know that some people may argue that it is indeed another way of destroying the environment; however, in my opinion, the more important issue is the effect that it will bring to the environment in the future prospect. it will definitely damage the environment during the construction; nevertheless, once those ecolodges are finished, visitors can thus be prevented from damaging the environment. Therefore, i believe that the damages caused during the construction of ecolodges are worthy in order to protect the environment in the long run.

ReplyDeleteQuestion2
I think it is a good idea. Once, I saw an ecolodge introduction in Australia in a traveling channel, it was in a national park with many animals living around. If one kind of animals breeds very quickly to go beyond the ecology balance number, then the host will arrange the kitchen to put some of them into the order menu. It may sound horrible, but it does help to balance the ecology by keeping the number of every species stable. So, running an ecolodge in national parks, in my opinion, is doing well not only to merchants but also to the ecology.

In natural, there are a lot of wild lives. They live in natural for a since they are born. They may not know how to deal with people. If people live in the natural, they could be hurt by wild lives. In other aspect, people are also a problem for producing garbage. Sometimes, people are lack of moral and they will dump garbage, litters whenever and wherever they are. On my opinion, I don’t think it is a good idea to build an ecolodge in natural. Returning the natural to wildlife and let them live on their own is much better. Wild life has their own life and so do human. For advantages, experts can observe animals much closer. We than can know more details about animals.

This summer vacation I went to 小琉球, which is a beautiful island near Kaohsiung. The most unforgettable view i saw there is 花瓶岩. It is an eolian rock at the seashore of 小琉球. The sea was as blue as the sky, and i could see the fishes swimming clearly above the sea. The island is like a pure land that wasn't be polluted by anyhthing. I visited Taroko national park when I was in elementary school. Though it has been many years, I still impressed a lot. I was amazed at majestic marble and canyons. All things in front of my eyes were cliffs, gorges, winding tunnel, layers of marble and streams. They are so beautiful that I can’t take my eyes of them. I was impressed by such uncanny workmanship. Needless to say, water is clear and air is fresh. It is a natural and precious place. It is the most breath-taking beauty of a scenic spot that I have ever been to.

I think it is good to build an ecolodge in national parks. An ecolodge can not only protect species in the nature, but also provide a proper place for people to get close to the nature. We live on the earth, but we seldom walk into forests to know more and enjoy the nature life. Therefore, the ecolodge is a good place for people to live with the nature. But, unless everyone who goes there follows the rules and doesn’t pollute and damage the nature environment; otherwise, the environment will still get hurt because of tourists.

I remember when I was very little, I went to "奧萬大" with my parents and relatives. The view there was extremely beautiful!! I still remember what I saw at night--when I looked up the sky, there were a zone of beautiful shining stars that it shaped like a river! It seemed like I could crasp the star easily as long as I reached out my hands.
Also, 奧萬大 has always been famous for the breathtaking view of the woods of maple trees, whose leaves would turn red and made the mountains there all red in the winter.

No, I don’t think it is a good idea to build an ecolodge in national parks? The main idea to build a national park is to protect our environment or animals. If we build a ecolodge there, the environment will be polluted and destroyed. In this case, we violate the first and main idea of building up a national park.

When it comes to a beautiful spot, 關子嶺 is the first place that will come to my mind. 關子嶺, surrounded by mountains, has the most beautiful view to watch. It is also famous for hot springs. There are so many different kinds of hot springs in 關子嶺, like the black hot spring or the mud hot spring. Therefore, as my family and I have free time, we will absolutely go to this place to relax. It is a really wonderful thing to do as I appreciate the scenery and take a bath at the same time.

In 苗栗, most of the mountains there don't have green trees like all the other mountains, all you can see is the earth, and due to the red color of the earth, it gets the name 火炎山. Actually, it is not as beautiful as many scenic spots in Taiwan. However it really impress me much more than all the other spots. Whenever I see the red earth, I feel like it is telling, and warning us not to damage the environment, or the great nature will be mad and will have its action!! So I am respectful to it.

My friend and I went to 新社 in Taichung.
It was famous for its "新社古堡", which had elegant European buildings, beautiful lakes, and dream-like gardens. The view was really fantastic! And when I took a rest at the palivion beside the lake, facing all those beautiful scenes, I felt relaxed and pleasure. Although it was raining on that day, it gave the scenic spot another face, and of course, it still looked beautiful. I hope next time, I can have the chance to go to visit the castle again and must on a sunny day:)

I think it’s a wonderful idea to build an ecolodge in the national parks, for we can not only enjoy its’ impressive scenery but also observe the wild animals in a short distance. In that place, we can release our pressure accumulated in our original busy life and just enjoy being part of the nature.
According to our textbook, building an ecolodge, if it’s well-designed, would not cause serious damage to the environment, for our recent advances in building technology can reduce the impact to a very limited degree.

ReplyDeleteI think it is a good an idea to build an ecolodge in national parks. Nowadays people live in an urban jungle and get less chance to get close to nature. People in Taiwan used to have one-day-off on Sundays, and the government make it two-day-off weekends. The reason why the government makes such change is to encourage people going for an outing with family. If we have an ecolodge in national parks, it will be a nice place for people to visit. In an ecolodge, people can enjoy beautiful sceneries, and it is more important for us to learn how to get along with the nature.
At same time, we should aware that we do not destroy the environments while enjoying beautiful sceneries. Before building an ecolodge, the government must have supporting measures to ensure that it does not damage the environments. The first thing is to educate people to respect the nature thus protect the precious environments.

I think it's a good idea to build an ecolodge in the national park, because we can get closer to these species. When we know these species more, we will know how precious they are, thus, we will cherish them as much as possible. However, the potential problem is that when we build an ecolodge in the national park, these species may be disturbed, and they can't enjoy their lives.

the number 1 scene of Taiwan in my memory will definitely be Dan-Shui. i remember the summer when i was about to enter college, i had a long and boring, depressing vacation. so one day, i decided to go for a trip on my own. it was truly a break through for me because i had never go anywhere too far from home for a distant all by myself only. and the trip i had there was the most wonderful experience that i have ever had. so the air, the sun, everything there was beautiful to me, and that's why i choose Dan-Shui for my number 1 recommended scene.

Taiwan is a beautiful island that is extremely unique because it is one of the very few places that you can visit the beach as well as hike up 4000m mountains on the same day with only a few hours drive. Taiwan's nature diversity is wondrously abundant, so that there can be many nature parks and sites all around Taiwan. The most unforgettable scenery I laid eyes upon was the Toroko gorge in Hualien. The scenery and nature was unbelievably magnificent and breath-taking with its rocky cliffs and mysterious caves of limestone. There were all sorts of vegetation that coated the mountains, and such an abundant wildlife. It was established as a national park not long ago. I'm sure many people who have visited the Hualien Toroko gorge national park would not hesitate to agree with me that it is truly one of the most beautiful places in Taiwan.

I’ve visited a lot of places in Taiwan since I was little. Although Taiwan is a small island, it owns numerous incredible and unique sceneries. Almost everywhere are deserved to be breath-taking spot.
For most of the people, when talking about Kenting, the blue seas and white shell sands may be the first impression that pops up. Besides the splendid sea scene which is well-acknowledged, the “drooly” stalactites and limestone caves in the 社頂national park are what really astonishing. It takes 5 years to form 1 centimeter stalactite. Some of the stalactites in the national parks are at the length of 50 meters or more. These are the mother nature’s magic power that no man can manipulate.

The most unforgettable and impressive scenic spot in Taiwan to me is the sea of cloud in the A-Li Mountain. In Taiwan, there are so many scenic spots are beautiful. I remember when I was senior high, I always went to 安平 with my friends and classmates. We always went there after school or exams. We will played some interesting games like cross十字路口 in there, because there are many delicious foods. There is a park called 林默娘. There is a very big and wide sod. You can walk your dog, fly kites, or just sit on the sod and relax. I felt comfortable and joyful everytime when I went there.

I think it is good to build an ecolodge in national park. It is a good way to protect our environment and animals. Since it must have the damage to the environment at the first; in the long term, ecolodges are the best district to protect the wilderness and animals. Although we have such abundant natural resources, people hardly cherish our environment. Once the ecolodge is built, and it makes a good chance to let people have better understanding about our nature.

This summer vacation, my friends and I went to Tatunshan (Yangmingshan) to enjoy a beautiful meteor shower at night. The night view at the top of the mountain was so marvelous and the falling stars were so incredible that you could never image unless you were there too. We guys just lay down next to the road, chatting with each other and enjoying the beautiful shining sky for almost 2 hours there. Then we went to 白沙灣 to watch the sun rise and have the famous zongzi at 十八王宮廟. The moment sun risen above the horizon, I felt so peaceful and grateful. I’m so happy that I made such a wonderful memory with my dear friends together at my college time. I believe that I would never forget about that beautiful night.

Ecolodges can boost local prosperity, and create more job openings for the local people. Besides, in an eco-friendly ecolodge, tourists are given opportunity to embrace nature.
On the other hand, ecolodges may pose threats on intact areas. For example, the trash left by tourists. The noise made by tourists may upset the wildlife

Last year, I visited 溪頭 with my mom and sister, I've never been to such a clean and pure place before. There were a lot of trees, as long as we arrived and walked in, I soon felt the fresh air. Took a deep breath, it was just like a brand new me at that time, and I bet that my mood was too well because of the freshness. The forest was at mountain, we walked and walked to find every beautiful scenery. Those pictures we took were still in my memory, I think I was a great chanse to take a closer touch of nature and trees, and also some small animals. If there's any oppotunity that I could go there again, I will definitely go.

Question 2
I don't think it's a good idea to have ecolodges in national parks. The reason for that is that I'm afraid there are always a few people who will cross lines and not act according to rules and regulations (when nobody is around to tell them better). And those people might litter, or scare wild animals, or even damage plants.
